1- Cahuita National Park (snorkeling and hiking)
A: SNORKELING:
This is a water tour aboard a fiver glass boat for eight passengers. One Capitan and a bilingual guide will take you around the Cahuita National Park; this park is the highest ranking park in the World with an average of more biodiversity per square meter than any other of the different ecosystems of the planet, on shore and off shore. You will be able to go snorkeling for about 3 to 4 hours in the main coral reef of Costa Rica, which houses 35 different kinds of coral, 123species of tropical fish, 3 species of sharks, 6 species of morenas, 3 species of urchin, 140 species of mollusk, 44 species of crustaceous, 128 species of algae, sea turtles, sea cucumber, sponges, crab, and shrimp among others. Snorkeling equipment and gear is available at no cost (mask, fins and tube).
B: HIKING:
After snorkeling a snack will be served consisting of seasonal tropical fruit and fresh bottled water, to get ready for the tour’s second stage: Hiking with path interpretation, the guide will take the group by different areas between Punta Cahuita and the town of Cahuita (5km) where you’ll get to see several types of snakes (boas, bocaraca, terciopelos, oropel, micas, ranera etc) sloth, white faced monkeys, whining monkeys, ant eaters, armadillo, apaches, blue morpho butterflies , birds, vertebrate and invertebrate, earth and sea mollusks, etc. and other thing such as: medicinal plants, orchids, ferns, different trees, etc.

2- Bri Bri y Kekoldy Indian Reservations:
This tour goes by the iguana’s farm, and the medicine garden of the KEKOLDY Reservation. This is a place where a small indigenous family is devoted to the reproduction of the Green Iguana, (Iguana iguana), specie that was in danger of extinction, but, thanks to this kind of initiatives their numbers are increasing.
The visit to the medicine garden is guided by a local, who will show you the plants that the Indians have utilized for hundreds of years. From here we will continue through the BRI-BRI Reservation till we arrive to the SURETKA community that is located on the banks of the TELIRE river. There is a market on this site where the locals sell the products of the reservation (variety of bananas, cacao, oranges, coco nuts, etc.). Its worth mentioning that those products are totally organic. A snack will be served here to enjoy seasonal tropical fruit (water melon, pineapple, melon, custard apple, or maracayá, papaya, etc.) Returning from Bri- Bri you will have a typical talamaqueno lunch, made with rice, spices, vegetables and fried beans, salad with banana vinegar, patacones, fried pork or chicken in a delicious sauce, fried plantain, coffee and dessert.
